New York Area Cycling Clubs

Westchester Cycle Club (our club - please join and ride!)
Long Island Bike Club
New York Cycle Club (NYC)
Sound Cyclists (Lower Connecticut)
Connecticut Bike Routes is an excellent site with lots of Connecticut rides.

Cycling Resources

A spreadsheet I created to compare gear ratios with different setups and compute speed for a combination of cadence and gears.  And here is the accompanying writeup that explains it in English.

An Amazon Listmania list with links to cycling accessories I can't live without. (But try and support your local bike shop!)

If you design your own rides in the Westchester/Fairfield area, here is a Google Map with food stops that are on often traveled bike routes.

Round Robin League Scheduler (Excel)

OK, this has nothing to do with cycling, but I didn't have anywhere else on the site to put it.  I created an Excel workbook with worksheets that enable you to quickly and easily set up round robin schedules for tennis (or any other sports) leagues or events.  Download the workbook, the full instructions are on the first worksheet.  Select the appropriate worksheet for 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10 teams.  No macros, in Excel 97 .xls format for compatibility.  Enjoy.
